Cerro San Valentin

At 4058m San Valentin is the highest mountain in Patagonia. Famous for its poor weather it is located at approximately 160 km from Villa Cerro Castillo on the edge of the Northern Patagonian Ice Cap. Depending on the season we will travel with skis and pulks. Sound oragnization and teamwork are essential to the success of such an expedition. It can only be undertaken by experienced mountaineers in excellent physical shape. The expedition will last 2-3 weeks in order to guarantee a serious summit bid. San Valentin is a remote and wild mountain but technically accessible. Weather forecasts are more precise nowadays and greatly help mountaineers attempting to climb such huge mountains.
